Welcome back to another episode of Midlife Moms Pod.

This is Allison.

And I'm Melanie.

And we're gonna do a little switcheroo today.

So the last couple of episodes, we've been recapping episodes of The Bachelorette.

And I don't know about you guys out there in the audience, but life just happened.

We had so many things back to back that came up between vacations and sicknesses and going back to school and what else, Melanie?

You name it, it happened.

We just couldn't keep up.

Yeah, so they are starting to post two episodes a week.

And so we have, we recorded episodes one through six, recaps of those.

So if you are interested, you can go back and listen to it.

We have not finished the rest of the season.

And I think what we're gonna do is just do one episode where we summarize it all after the last episode, which airs next Tuesday.

Right.

And then we can just discuss what we liked, what we disliked, and who we thought she would pick.

Right.

This episode today, we're gonna kind of regroup and kind of get back into what we started this podcast for, which just is to talk about life and what's going on and share things that work well for us or what doesn't work well, or just being a mom, good parts, bad parts.

Funny parts.

Funny parts, sad parts.

So that's what this episode is gonna be.

We're gonna get back to our roots and we're gonna talk about our favorite things.

And I've got a lot.

Okay.

Well, I don't have as much.

Oh, you want to start?

With one of your favorite things.

Okay.

So some are for me and some are for Emily.

Turkish towels.

Have you ever used a Turkish towel?

I have not.

Okay.

They're amazing.

Okay.

And I had been hearing people talk about them and I thought, what's the big deal, right?

Yeah, I figured out what the big deal is.

They are, they're lightweight.

You can use them as a blanket if you want to.

But we take them to the beach and they are very lightweight.

They roll up.

They don't take a lot of space in your bag or whatever.

They dry really fast.

So, you know, they come out of the ocean and you wipe them all off and the towels wet.

And then they eat lunch or whatever.

And then it's time to leave again and your towel is still wet, right?

Yeah.

These Turkish towels don't do that.

They literally are dry by the time it's time to go.

Really?

Yeah, they're amazing.

And they're kind of expensive.

I mean, I'm not going to lie about that.

They are kind of expensive.

I was looking them up on Amazon real quick to see how much they actually were.

What is expensive?

Well, that's what I'm looking at.

I'll pay for a good towel.

You know what I'm saying?

But so I buy the Turkish beach towel.

It's pre-washed, 100% cotton.

It is from Hello.

I don't even know how you say this.

P-E-S-H-T-E-M-A-L store on Amazon.

And they are $16.99 a piece.

Well, I don't think that's really a whole lot.

And they come in every color you can think of.

So but they're absorbent.

They do quick dry.

They're light weight.

They have beautiful colors and they are easy to wash.

You just throw them in there and wash them and then dry them.

There's no like special thing you have to do to them.

But I love them.

I actually want to buy more just because they're...

How many do you have?

I have three.

Oh.

Just for one of each of us.

I have zero.

You need to get some.

They're wonderful.

I can post pictures of them.

Yeah.

We've had them for probably maybe two years, I guess, and they look brand new.

You know how much I go to the beach, so they're getting well used.

Used.

Yeah.

We went to a pool party the other day, and I brought two towels, and I left one at the party.

That was your towel?

It was.

It was an old Toy Story towel.

Yep.

I said, Emily even said, I think that's Ms.

Allison's, and I was like, are you sure?

Caroline has it, so she may give it to you and she said, Oh, okay.

Yeah.

Or you can replace it with a Turkish towel.

I was just going to say, yeah, that towel is so old, and I realized it when we were on our way home.

I was like, oh, I left the towel.

Well, but I'll have to take a look at those Turkish towels.

I've seen them in Instagram ads, and I was like, I wasn't going to buy them, right?

Then I was like, I'm going to buy one and see if I like it.

Then of course, I bought two more right away, because after I got it and yeah, they're really good.

If we take them to the beach and we don't use one, Emily will cover up with it on the way home from the beach, like a blanket.

So check it out.

Okay, we'll do.

What's one of your favorite things?

Okay.

Well, I have a facial cleanser that I love, and I'm almost out of it, and this reminds me I need to order more, but it smells like garbage.

I just realized.

But it's Differin Gel.

Have you ever heard of Differin Gel?

No.

Okay.

So it's something my dermatologist turned me on to, and it used to have really bad skin on my face, so acne and prone to acne.

And this cleanser is like a little mini microbead massage.

So it's got little tiny microbeads on it.

It's an exfoliator.

So you can just lather it up.

It feels like a nice good massage on your skin.

It's medicated, which it's not.

I know everybody's into the fancy skincare and most expensive skincare, and all these 16 year olds are going and maxing out their mom's gift cards or credit cards over at Sephora.

Right.

I'm a simple girl.

So this Differin gel is probably expensive for like CVS standards, but it is also tingly.

So it must have some sort of aloe or...

Do you use it every night or every day?

I use it every day.

So here's what the description is.

It's a daily brightening exfoliator.

Gently polish the skin to help improve texture, tone and clarity.

Contains an antioxidant blend to instantly brighten.

Formulated with white tea and aloe.

So I did say aloe to nourish and soothe.

Now...

I bet you the tea is what's tingling your...

Like the white tea.

You think so?

Not the aloe because aloe is very gentle.

Yeah.

So what I'll do is I'll leave this on for...

Well, a lot of my face up so I'll water it like a garden.

And then I put my cleanser on and I kind of just rub it so that the little microbeads sink into my skin and do their job.

And then I'll lay with it for like maybe five minutes.

And then I get up and I either put hot water on it, on like a microfiber towel.

So that's another thing I have are these like square microfiber washcloths.

And I'll either put hot water or cold water depending on my mood.

You're like a car.

That's what we clean our cars with.

It's like a mini spa, like a mini facial.

Okay.

I guess.

And so I'm going to shout out to Differin.

They have, you know, if you've got spotty skin, different complexions, so like rosy skin or I don't know.

It evens the skin tone and it helps with dry, not dry out.

But if you've got oily skin, it's perfect for it.

Okay.

Put in all of our favorite things that we talk about today.

So my dermatologist kept telling me to get it.

And every time I would go, which was like every six months, she'd be like, why haven't you gotten it yet?

I'm like, I don't know.

I can't find it.

And so this whole different line has got like this exfoliation cream or, you know, exfoliator.

And then it also has this other gel, which is also a cleanser.

Okay.

So can you, you have to buy it from the dermatologist or do you buy it over the counter somewhere?

You used to have to buy it from the dermatologist.

And then now they have it in CVS or they have it on Amazon.

Okay.

Yeah.

Well, that's good that you didn't need a prescription, you know, because sometimes when you get a dermatologist, they require a prescription for certain things.

Yeah.

And CVS is tricky because some CVS stores have it and some don't.

Some Walgreens have it, some don't.

So you may be able to find it just at Amazon.

Okay.

I'll have to look at it.

And it's about $12.

And it's not bad at all.

So my next favorite thing is the Alexa Pure water filtration system that I have.

Yes.

Because you know, that's all I drink is water.

And I'm very funny about how water tastes, what's in our water these days.

And it takes out most all 206 contaminants that are in our water, that are commonly found in our drinking water right now.

But it gets out bacteria like 99.999% of that.

Chlorine, it takes out 99.9% of that.

Fluoride, 97%.

Pesticides, 95%.

Pharmaceuticals, which can you believe are in our water.

95%.

Viruses, 99.99%.

Heavy metals and lead out of the water.

And I mean, I started doing that because we both, me and Emily both only drink water.

And I'm like, if that's all we're drinking, I want to make sure it's as clean as possible.

So especially for her and she's growing, you know?

So I bought one and then like four days later, I bought another one.

Wow.

So I have one in my bathroom and one downstairs by my sink, in my kitchen.

And where do you get them?

I got mine from my Patriot Supply, a website and they have, you can buy one filtration system.

It's just a counter one.

It's not like some when you have to hook up to your pipes in the house or anything.

They do have those, but I went this route.

But you can tell the difference of water and how it tastes.

So much so that Emily is having a problem drinking the water at school.

She literally made me pack her two water bottles today.

So I'm thinking about getting her a big, huge hydro flask and filling it up.

Let her take it to school.

Yeah, I've got a 64 ounce Yeti.

I like the hydro flask just for her because it actually comes with a little thing you can drink out of or you can just push that down and then it's covered, you know?

Because with kids and all that, you want something that covers the mouthpiece.

But anyways, that's one of my favorite things ever.

I've never had one of those before because I used to just drink out of the refrigerator that has a filter on it, but nothing like this.

This is a whopper of a filter and it filters out.

You don't have to get another filter until over 200 gallons of water that's been through it.

I was going to ask how long that lasts.

It should last you a year, depending on how much water you drink.

If you don't drink a lot of water like me, it could last you longer than a year.

But I've had mine for a year and I just replaced my one in the kitchen because we use that one more.

I haven't replaced my one in the bathroom yet.

I recommend it highly.

It makes your water taste amazing.

Okay, next.

Okay.

So my next item is also skincare.

And it is from Clinique and it is called the Smart Clinical Repair Overnight Mask.

Okay.

So overnight recovery cream and mask.

Now this one I just said, maybe I edited this out.

I just said, I'm not one to spend a lot of money on fancy skincare.

And I had to immediately retract that because I remembered that this bottle that I'm looking at online is $80.

Whoa.

Okay.

Yes.

The description from Clinique is that it's our anti-aging overnight cream and mask for face and neck visibly repairs lines and wrinkles, helps restore barrier and visibly quells sensitivity, delivers deep hydration while you sleep.

Dermatologist tested, safe for sensitive skin, allergy tested, 100% fragrance free.

Oh, I like the fragrance free part.

Yeah.

And it is...

So on Clinique's website, they have the description and then what it does, what's the concern, right?

So why would you get it?

So the concern under here is that hydration, lines and wrinkles.

So as a woman of a certain age, that's me, I am very sensitive to the lines around my eyes and just the wrinkles that are starting to form.

So that's why I got this.

And at the Clinique counter, if you go to Clinique and you're looking at the skincare, most of the time, the girls behind the counter will talk to you and a lot of people are like, oh, I don't wanna talk to people behind the skincare counter.

But when I talk to them, I get free samples and I got this as a free sample one time.

And she's like, try this for, she gave me like enough for a week.

She's like, try it and see what you think.

I'm gonna warn you, this is like expensive, but I think that, you know, from what we talked about, you're really gonna like it.

I do, it's real thick.

Like I love it because a little bit goes a long way, but it covers your skin and then you can sleep with it on.

Oh, that was gonna be my next question.

Which is what I like, because I like it to work for me while I'm sleeping.

And so it is like a thicker cream, not a thinner cream.

So it's like an overnight mask.

So when you get up in the morning, do you wash it off?

No, it's all absorbed.

All absorbed, yes.

So I am, yeah, so I'm a big proponent for Clinique.

Yeah, I used to wear Clinique when I was 20.

Right.

I mean, they've been around forever.

Forever.

My mom used to wear Clinique.

Yeah, I just, I almost went to work for Clinique one time.

And I hadn't used them in years.

And then a few years ago when I was trying to up my game in the skincare routine, I went back.

But you'll like this because Clinique is natural.

It doesn't have drying alcohol, no fragrance, no oil, no parabens, no plathylates.

I don't know if I said that right.

Yeah, that's good.

No sodium lauryl sulfate, no sodium lauryl sulfate, and no synthetic colors.

So I knew you would approve of this.

Oh, yeah.

I like that idea.

Yes.

I don't think it used to be like that, but I think they've changed a lot of their formulas over the years, which I like.

Let's have clean beauty.

Yes.

Yeah.

Beauty doesn't have to be toxic.

Right.

Yeah.

So your two favorite things so far are beauty.

They are their beauty products.

My other favorite thing, which I wear it all the time, is my Roxy tennis shoes.

Okay.

They're just comfy and they're quick.

When I'm having to get out of the house, I don't have to tie a shoe, right?

Right.

So they're little tennis shoes and they're just already your slip-ons and they're cute and they come in cute colors.

Right.

Have you ever tried them on?

I have not.

You need to try them on.

They're really cute and comfy.

They are.

I have weird feet anyways.

I don't have like arches in my feet.

I have dancer feet type stuff.

So they're just comfy.

I mean, I wear regular tennis shoes like if I'm working out or walking distance, but Roxy's are my go-to.

You wear them all year round?

Yes, because they come in all different colors.

So I have a black pair, a white pair, and then I have those cute ones that have like the hibiscus flowers on them.

Yeah, where am I?

Your room.

So the reason I asked that is because, is there anything else you would like to say about the Roxy's?

No, just people need to try them on.

Girls need to try them on, women need to try them on.

They're comfy and they're cute.

Because I was going to talk about my comfortable shoes.

Okay.

I'm going to have to change over because we're changing seasons now, and these aren't going to fly for the rest of the year.

But I bought at the beginning of summer, I needed a new pair of flip-flops, and I went back to 1995, and I bought myself a pair of Birkenstocks.

Wow.

Let me tell you, I love them.

Whereas you have a good arch in your foot, don't you?

I do.

See, I don't at all, so Birkenstocks hurt my feet really bad.

I realize now that we're coming out of summer, we're going into fall, and I'm not a sock in Birkenstock wearer.

I'm not going to wear socks in my Birkenstocks.

Who does that?

Kids do.

The kids nowadays, that's what they do.

You're right.

I have seen boys walking from the bus stop, and they have those white socks on with slides.

Right.

Yeah, that's a no.

And girls wear sweatpants with socks and Birkenstocks to school.

Yeah.

Yeah, I don't think that's a good idea.

But whatever, they're fashion trend, I guess, but that's not me.

Right.

Yeah, you need to try Roxy's.

Yeah.

You would love them.

And they're cute little just tennis shoes that just slide on.

Well, you know what I do like, and I'm going to order some more, is that I got at TJ Maxx or Nordstrom Rack.

I think the original pair were from Nordstrom Rack, but they were Cynthia Crowley flats.

And so they look like Rothy's, but they're by Cynthia Crowley.

So do you know what those are?

They're like fabric-y.

So you have a pair or you don't have a pair?

I do.

I have two pairs.

I have a gold pair that has a little shimmer in them.

And then I have a maroon pair that I have never worn.

I bought them at the end of season last year, but my gold ones, I've worn so much that they kind of look dingy now.

So I need to get a new pair, but those are like slip-ons and they're very comfortable.

Yeah, I'm all about comfort.

I'll take comfort over anything these days.

Yeah, and I can stand up and I've done trade shows.

So as part of my job, I have to go travel and do trade shows and I'll wear those all day and my feet will not hurt me.

Oh, that's saying something.

Yeah.

That's good if you have to stand up and you have a good shoe.

Like if I'm having to walk a long time, like if we go to Universal or something like that, I will wear my A6 or like an actual sneaker where if I'm just like going around town or whatever, I'll slip on my Roxy's.

But that's pretty much all I wear is Roxy's.

I also bought a new pair of Hoka's.

Like I had never had Hoka's before.

What is that?

I've never even heard of that.

So those are tennis shoes or I don't know if they're tennis shoes or sneakers or whatnot, but Bret had originally gotten them years ago at the running store.

So they were, they tried or, you know, he ran on the treadmill or ran on some machine and they determined that those were a good fit for him, but they're so soft and cushiony on the bottom.

I'm sure you've seen them around, but they live up to the hype.

They're expensive.

They're about $160.

Oh, that's not bad though.

No.

Tennis shoes, not for a good pair of shoes.

Yeah.

So they live up to their-

Their hoopla, the hookah.

Thank you.

I was trying to think of a word.

Is it a hookah?

You said a hookah?

Hookah?

Hookah.

Oh, I was like, wait, what?

Oh, the name of the shoes.

Yes, it's hookah.

H-O-K-A.

Never heard of those.

You haven't.

No.

I'll have to do some research.

You should.

Yeah.

They have orthopedic shoes too.

Do they?

Yeah.

That's what it said.

Orthopedic.

My hookahs are very comfortable.

But see, I mean, I like those.

I like the way they look.

But then again, when you're trying to get out of the house and get in the car and do what, I just slide my my rocksies on.

Well, sometimes I wear dresses and I can't just wear, like I wear rocksies with my dress.

I you know, I just haven't gotten used to it.

I'm going to think I'm going to do that today.

Speaking of which, we have an event tonight.

Yes, I think I might do that today.

I'll put on a dress and wear my rocksies.

Anyways, what is your next favorite thing?

I don't have one.

Well, what else do you have that's a favorite?

OK, so I have two favorites for for the girls.

One is a bun shaper for hair.

I used to just do buns free-handed.

This makes a donut style and you get four different sizes of the donuts.

Then making a bun is so simple.

It's ridiculous and it's a completely perfect bun.

Of course, if you have a dancer, they're required to wear buns most of the time.

It's quick, it's easy, and it is amazing.

My other thing is I found these hair ties for girls.

They're nylon so that you don't have any damage to your hair.

But the ones previous that I had, they all stretched out.

I don't know what was wrong with them, but they all stretched.

It was hard.

I was having to do a ponytail and do five or six times around.

That's true.

So I found these, and every time I take them out of my hair or her hair, they're completely like they've never been used.

They go right back to the same size.

So I got a pair of, let's see, I got 54 hair ties for 7.99.

What?

Where?

Off Amazon.

Oh my God.

Amazon is just this magical place.

Right.

But let's point out, we're not getting endorsements for any of this.

This is our favorite thing.

Yeah.

We are in no way, shape or form being coerced into talking about this stuff.

But they're amazing because I always had a complaint that all the hair ties stretch out if they get wet.

They're always stretching out these every single time you wear them.

They're like, they're brand new as soon as you take them out of their hair.

It's amazing.

Those are amazing for girls, for women.

You know, you could have long hair as a boy, but you're not going to want to wear mushroom ties or gingham pattern.

You know, that kind of heart, you know, it's all very girly styles.

Not out there dissing the boys that have long hair.

So although my brother-in-law probably would be like, I don't care.

I can just put in his hair as long as it works.

Yeah.

Does he have a ponytail?

Yeah, he has a long hair.

Oh, wow.

So one of my hair things, and you know, I have long hair too, is this clip that I get at Nordstrom.

And my cousin and I had found these years ago, but it's just a simple class that I haven't found it anywhere else other than Nordstrom's, and they are $36 each.

But they've got got two of them.

They have kind of like this marble looking pattern on the top, and then they come in like gold and silver.

So you can dress them up or you can dress them down, but I wear it all the time.

I'm sure you see me wear that.

I don't know.

You'll have to take a picture of it and post it, because I don't know.

I mean, I wear my big clip, but mine's $8 from Target, which I love.

I mean, I love the clip, but yeah, I always would love, you know, I love to see new hair accessories.

And I put it in like a, I do a French twist and I just clip it on the back.

So if, like I just took it out, so my hair is down right now, but I get hot very easily and I have this long hair.

So if I am having a hot flash or I'm just in a situation where it's just really warm in the room, I can put it up real quick.

So yeah, and I'm looking on their website right now, trying to see if they have it.

But I don't see it on their website.

I'll just stop in there and go into their hair section.

Last time, I bought two of them.

So they were $36 each.

So I spent $72 on these hair clips.

Well, that's saying something about them if you like them that much, just spend that kind of money.

Yeah.

So that's one of my favorite things.

I mean, that is truly one of my favorite things.

Well, yeah, you need to take a picture of it.

I'll take a picture of mine, of what I wear, and then we can put them out there because mine's $8 versus your 36.

No, but I'm always in for like new hair stuff, because, you know, having long hair, it gets annoying sometimes.

Yeah.

That's good to have a good clip, you can just pull it up.

Yeah, so I like to hang on to these like gold, because if I were ever...

Well, yeah, they cost not as much as gold, $36.

Yeah, so I did find them online.

Oh, you did?

Yeah.

So, it's called, it's by Ficare, F-I-C-C-A-R-E.

And it's called a, they just call it a hair clip.

They range from 58 to 62, but I did not pay that much for mine.

Are they different sizes and stuff?

Oh, this one is $44.

So they must have gone up.

Oh, you got in on the ground floor of 36 then, because I see one for 68.

Do you?

Yeah.

Okay.

So were you going to do another favorite thing?

So when Matthew was little, I was really into essential oils and started collecting them.

And I love a good essential oil, my favorite that I always keep stocked in the house because Matthew is also addicted to it.

It's called Gentle Baby by Young Living.

Oh, okay.

Yeah.

It's like a magic potion for sleep.

So I used to put this in a diffuser when he was little and was fussy or sick or congested, just if he had a bad day.

And it's just, there's something about it.

It's just so soothing.

It smells like baby powder, kind of.

Yeah.

But the formula is Gentle Baby, and he'll still ask for it to this day.

So he is seven and he'll still ask me, Mom, can you put some Gentle Baby in my diffuser?

So do you have a bunch of essential oils like that?

I do.

Have you like, or I guess the company that you got that from, do you use only their essential oils?

I do.

And what is it called again?

Young Living.

Young Living.

Gentle Baby.

Okay.

Young Living.

Could you put that in, let's say, the body butter that I make?

You probably could.

It's a blend.

So it's not one of the oils that's so strong.

Yeah.

You can wear this neat, which means like without any diffusers.

Okay.

You could apply it gently, like you could apply it directly behind your ears or on your wrist.

So you could use it in a lotion, if you will.

Okay.

Yeah.

And it's the description is calm and soothed little ones with Young Living Gentle Baby, a calming blend of specially formulated for babies and active children.

Okay.

Yeah.

So I wonder if there's a kit.

Oh yeah, there's a starter kit I'm looking.

It takes me back and it says, enjoy the balancing and relaxing benefits of Roman chamomile and yin yang, which contribute to the comforting and soothing aroma of gentle baby.

Okay.

Enhance moments of relaxation and reflection by diffusing in your home or your child's bedroom in the evening.

And I'll do it sometimes in my room.

Yeah.

Yeah.

This is definitely one of my favorites.

Love it.

Yes.

The body butter I make, I don't put any smell in it at all.

Oh, you don't?

Yeah.

Just because it doesn't really need it.

I mean, it kind of smells like coconut, but it doesn't.

I mean, it doesn't need it, but you could have a scent that would be good, you know?

But I don't want to put anything in it that's an actual fragrance, but this is the essential oil would be good.

Yeah.

I also use Sleepy Eyes, which is from their kids line and that has lavender in it.

And that's also one where you can apply directly to the skin because the kids line is less concentrated.

So it's safe for people of all ages.

And my husband, if he ever starts to feel ill, he's like, can you rub some Sleepy Eyes on me?

So I'll put that either behind his ears or on his feet.

Okay.

Yeah, I'm definitely going to have to look at this because I'm all about all the essential oils and stuff.

And I have many different others.

Yeah, I have many others.

Okay.

I like this one a lot.

Their favorite.

Yeah.

Love it.

Yeah, I was looking at it.

It says food and beverage on it.

But this is something completely different.

It doesn't have anything to do with the oils.

This is actually food.

Oh.

They sell as well.

Yeah, I was going to say, they do have some foods that they sell.

Yeah.

It's interesting though.

Yeah.

Right.

So we'll definitely have to put that on the notes, because that's a good one.

Love it.

I think we've had what?

How many have we done so far?

We've done a lot.

I don't know.

We have done a lot.

I was going to say one more thing that I love is a good slipper sock.

Have you ever worn the little slipper socks that they look like?

Why can't I think of the name of an actual slipper, except they're socks that have those little plastic things on the bottom, the circles?

The ones that you get at the hospital?

Kind of, but they're not actual socks.

They're more like slippers, but they have that bottom to them.

Okay.

Sometimes Target sells them for like $5, like around the holidays.

You can get a holiday pattern or whatever.

Okay.

I just like them during the winter since we don't wear shoes in our house and we have tile.

Oh, right.

I love a good slipper sock.

I'll have to put a picture of them.

I call them slipper socks.

That may not even be what the name of them is.

Let me look it up because, you know, but it's a...

Yeah, slipper socks.

Oh yeah, it comes up as slipper socks.

Let me see what it says.

But they're cute.

They just have little...

Oh, I see them.

Decorative type, you know.

It sells them.

Yeah, but see, these are actual slipper.

I mean, these are actual socks.

I don't wear actual socks.

They're more like slippers, but I call them slipper socks because, oh, they're here.

They're called, look at the snoozy's skinnies, lightweight slipper socks.

Snoozy's skinnies.

Those are good.

Who do these people come up with?

I don't know.

Those are kind of like what I wear.

And then I was trying to find the ones.

Oh, okay.

I see them.

Like at Target, they have really cute ones at Target during the holidays.

But you can get all kinds of cute little patterns, and some are real fuzzy, you know, and some look just real fancy.

Anyways, they're a good little slipper sock, I call it.

Yeah, the snoozy skinnies are good, but they're not actual socks, they're more like slippers.

There's, you know, they do have the ones that are like fuzzy, anti-slip socks, and those have those things on the bottom.

But the ones I have are more like cute slippers, but they're socks with just those dots on the bottom that make you non-skid.

But that's one of my favorite things, especially if you have cold tile floor in the winter.

Yeah.

I can't believe it's almost fall, speaking of.

I know.

I'm so excited.

So.

So excited.

I know.

It's time for all the fall festivals and...

Yes.

Yeah.

So it's...

Summer's over.

I hate to say it.

My birthday's right around the corner.

It's sliding in.

Yeah.

Yeah.

But I'm excited that it's almost fall, because I love that weather where you can open your windows.

I know.

It's more probably, what, another 30 days away from it, or do you think more?

Oh, I don't know.

I know.

I know.

I just can't wait until I can, like, open all of my windows and just air it out in here.

Just air out anyways.

Yeah.

That's my favorite thing, too.

The fall festivals and all the fun things you can do out, you know, like the craft festivals and those kind of things.
